Message For what it's worth, it runs. It's making a little lifter noise up top at the moment, but seems healthy. I've got to finish up the brakes before I can go drive it.

Ford motor mounts and some eBay headers. If you think it deserves better, you're wrong. My words of advice: If you're going to bother pulling an NA motor, you might as well replace it with something cool. Not just another NA motor. *sigh*

There's also an eBay "F1 Racing" clutch and an SGP underdrive pulley (also purchased through eBay). All your favorite parts! There are a few new gaskets and stuff in there too.

But more importantly, CARNAGE from the old beast:

What was left of piston #6...

The busted rod and cap...


Looking forward to whatever fun this motor will provide. Hopefully it'll make it to its next oil change. :)
